It was only a matter of time before I would post a photograph of my dog. When I took this picture, we were both practicing things very, very early on this Saturday morning: I was practicing photography and she was practicing her sit (or, as we call it, her hup. It's a hunting dog thing.)
She's a year and a half old, so there's still a lot of puppy in her. Her name is Indie, which is short for her fancy name: Crosswinds Independent Spirit. I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is my first dog, my "Seize the Day!" puppy. And yes, she lives up to her name exactly as you'd expect she might.
Who: Indie. She also goes by "Puppychub."
When: Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the crack of dawn (literally)
Where: Greensboro, Vermont
Why: At sunrise there were exactly three things to photograph: the dairy farm across the street, a view of Jay Peak (at least, I think it was Jay Peak) and my dog, the reason I was up at dawn in the first place.
