It's fall in New England and that means one thing: bring on the foliage shots.
We took a few days off in early October to spend a few days in Maine with friends. It was far enough north that the leaves had started to turn and early enough that it was still pretty warm outside.
But the real reason for our trip north wasn't to see the leaves or drink wine in front of a fire (although we did plenty of both). There were some new puppies, around 8 weeks old, to hang out with.
Later in the month, I spoke to some engineering students at MIT about what it was like to work at Autodesk. I expected MIT to be intimidating (I'm not an alum). It was anything but, and in some ways it felt to me like any other college campus.
That's it - my five favorite photos for October. All were shot with my iPhone 6+. November, my favorite month of the year, should be a fun one - I have some traveling and celebrating to do. I'm off to Washington (state) and Las Vegas, and near the end of the month will celebrate my 45th birthday.
I don't know if November is still the traditional time for #NaPhoPoMo; it seems to be, if a quick Google search is any indication. It may be crazy to post a photo every day in November, when the days get short and light is scarce but I'm planning to do just that, because I like it.
